The problem Josh noticed
Josh's family bought Titanic models in that range. Some came as huge kits that took hours of building before anyone could play. Others were ready-made but looked like a generic ship, or were missing the things that make the Titanic the Titanic: the right funnels, lights, lifeboats and details.
So Josh designed the one he actually wanted.

Collector craftsmanship, kid-ready build
01 · Pre-built
No glue, no instruction booklet, no weekend of building. Lift it out of the box and it's ready for the shelf, the desk or the living-room floor. It's about 20 inches long, big enough to feel like a centerpiece.
02 · Accuracy & tiny details
Correct proportions and decks. A black hull with a white band and white superstructure, and red antifouling below the waterline. Four buff funnels with black tops (the fourth was a dummy, just like the real ship). Railings, portholes, windows and deck equipment, with 16 wooden lifeboats in their correct davit positions plus the collapsibles.
There's no full interior, but there are lots of tiny surprises. Peek through the bridge window and you'll find a tiny ship's wheel. The lifeboats are fixed in place, so none go missing, and each one is finely detailed.
03 · Magnetic split + dual LEDs
Hidden magnets let the hull separate cleanly between the third and fourth funnels, where the real Titanic broke. Then it snaps right back together.
Each half has its own built-in waterproof LED set with its own on/off switch. Light the bow, the stern or both.
04 · Magnetic funnels
All four funnels attach with magnets, so they lift off to explore and pop back into place, lined up correctly every time.
A matching iceberg piece comes in the box, so the display and the story are complete from day one.
Detailed enough for serious Titanic fans and durable enough for kids to actually play with.
It's a display model first. But it's waterproof, lights and all, so it can float in a bathtub or pool whenever you like.
Bonus: it floats
Most days it lives on a shelf. But since the whole ship and both LED sets are waterproof, it can float upright in the bathtub or the pool with every window glowing.
Josh's idea
Josh is six, and he loves the Titanic. He knows about the four funnels (and which one was a dummy), where the lifeboats hung, and where the ship split in two. He has looked at a lot of Titanic models.
He kept running into the same problems. The good-looking ones came in thousands of pieces. The ready-made ones didn't look like the real ship. None had everything he wanted.
So he described his perfect model to his dad, Andrew, detail by detail. It would come already built and have its own iceberg. You could see a tiny wheel through the bridge window. It would light up, split in half with magnets and float in the bath. And it would be tough enough to play with every day.
This page is that idea, brought to life as concept art. Maybe someday it'll be under a lot of Christmas trees. For now, it's Josh's ship.
